The checkerboard pattern is as eye-catching as it is easy to assemble, and the mix of salty cheese with juicy fruit or briny olives is a flavour combination your guests will love. Garnished with lemon zest, olive oil, and a hint of spice, this is the perfect bite-sized treat to kick off your celebrations.
- Step 1Pit the olives and cherries or hull the strawberries using our Tweezy™ tool.
- Step 2Cut the cheese into equal sized cubes.
- Step 3Arrange the cheese and olives/fruit in a checkerboard style pattern on your serving plate or chopping board.
- Step 4Top with the lemon zest, a drizzle of olive oil, fresh herbs, chilli flakes, salt and pepper.
- 100g olives, strawberries, or cherries
- 200g feta or hard cheese of your choice (Cheddar, Stilton, Manchego and Parmesan all work brilliantly)
