As a retailer of kitchenware, we offer for sale a range of bladed items which are restricted for sale to persons over the age of 18. We take the responsibility of age verification very seriously and adhere to the following policy.
As part of the transactional process, we will attempt to verify the age of the person purchasing any bladed product. We use AgeChecked to conduct age verification during the order process using information you have given us. This system will seek to verify your details as stated above in order to clarify your age.
There are three possible outcomes when we perform this check.
1. Your age is verified, and confirmed as over the age of 18. In this case, the order will progress through our systems and be delivered as normal. An email will also be sent to you by AgeChecked as a GDPR Notice to confirm you have been successfully verified.
2. Your age cannot be verified and it is not possible to confirm whether you are over the age of 18 or not. Our Customer Services Team will then be in touch to give you the option to provide us with proof of age documentation for age verification purposes.
